Does anyone have a good RPG for me? I currently have a small game/PSL I love, but am missing bigger game pacing and interaction. I don't particularly want anything radically AU if it's Harry Potter, I'd rather not take on a new fandom if it requires me to read/watch 80 bajillion hours of canon source material, and no matter the game I don't want anything super fluffy, super dark, or super shippy. Also - here's the stickler that eliminates like, 75% of what's out there - I prefer threads over journals. If you have a killer journal game I'll take a look, but... I like actual storied interaction, not just commenting on character f-lists.
It feels odd to call out to my own f-list like this, and I may not get any responses at all, but as I've browsed advert comms and found nothing that struck a particular chord with me, I thought I'd see if anyone had anything they'd like to rec. If you've got nothing, then commiserate with me and we'll enjoy a baffled exchange about the apparent downturn of quality games these days.
